Wellington Chocolate Factory has released new drinking chocolate featuring its award-winning Peru Chocolate, their first new product release for 2020.
Based on Wellington Chocolate Factory's (WCF) in-house drinking chocolate made at its Eva Street Retail Store and Factory, it is Bio-gro Certified Organic, Fairtrade and Vegan. Made from only three high-quality ingredients – organic dark chocolate, Fairtrade organic cocoa and organic sugar, it delivers a real chocolate hit from the first sip.
Gabe Davidson, Founder of WCF, says it's taken more than a year to perfect.
"We make one of New Zealand's best hot chocolates at our Eva Street Factory using 100% hand-shaved chocolate. Our new drinking chocolate is made for an 'at home' experience. We've combined cocoa powder,
sugar and chocolate to deliver a stronger flavour, spoon for spoon as well as ensuring it’s easy to make.
"Our drinking chocolate contains half the sugar and three times more cocoa than what you'll find in other brands on supermarket shelves. By only using three organic ingredients (and no fillers like starch and milk powder) people are buying actual cocoa and chocolate, and nothing else – and will experience a real chocolate drinking experience like no other.
As well as being made from ethical and sustainable ingredients, WCF's drinking chocolate comes in 100% home compostable packaging.
