How to enter:

  1. Post a fun video or photo from any of our four tours* on Instagram or TikTok.
  2. Tag us @wellingtonchocfactory (TikTok) / @wellingtonchocolatefactory (Instagram) and use #WCFchoctour.
  3. Follow our account on the tagged platform.

Full T&Cs

  1. The promoter of the competition is Wellington Chocolate Factory 5 Eva Street
    Te Aro, Wellington New Zealand, 6011.
  2. By submitting an entry, entrants agree to these Terms. Any entry not complying with these Terms is invalid.  
  3. Entries received during each calendar month will be valid for the corresponding month’s competition period.  
  4. Entries must be entrants’ original photograph or video, and not generated by AI software or taken from other sources on the internet without the creators’ consent.
  5. This competition is open to 18+ year old NZ residents only.  
  6. Valid entries from eligible entrants will automatically go into consideration. Winners will be selected randomly at Wellington Chocolate Factory’s discretion and notified by the 15th of each month.  
  7. To enter, share an Instagram or TikTok post from a Wellington Chocolate Factory Tour and tag @wellingtonchocfactory (TikTok) / @wellingtonchocolatefactory (Instagram) and use #WCFchoctour. Follow Wellington Chocolate Factory’s social media account on the platform tagged.  
  8. By entering the competition, entrants grant Wellington Chocolate Factory the right to use and distribute the photo or video for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, website and email communications, in perpetuity.
  9. The prize is an assortment of 52 Wellington Chocolate Factory chocolate bars. The entire prize will be shipped in one shipment. Wellington Chocolate Factory reserves the right to choose the flavour and variety of bars that will be given as the prize.
  10. The Prize cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services.  A prize cannot be transferred to any other person unless agreed to by the Promoter.
  11. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  12. Winner will be notified by Wellington Chocolate Factory’s official Instagram or TikTok account.
  13. Winner will have 72 hours to accept the prize before we choose a different winner.
  14. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wellington Chocolate Factory will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury or death incurred or sustained as a direct or indirect result of winning or using the Prize. Wellington Chocolate Factory will not be liable for any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, epidemic, fire, floods, acts of God or acts of government.  
  15. Entrants' personal information will be collected by or on behalf of Wellington Chocolate Factory to enable it to administer the competition and publicise the winner. The personal information of the winner may be provided to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the competition. By entering this competition, entrants consent to the use of their personal information as described. Entrants may contact Wellington Chocolate Factory at the address given above to request access to, or correction of, any of their personal information that is collected and held by Wellington Chocolate Factory. If an entrant does not provide accurate personal information Wellington Chocolate Factory may determine that they are not eligible to win a prize. All entries become the property of Wellington Chocolate Factory.  
  16. These terms may be updated or modified by us (provided this doesn't materially prejudice anyone who has already entered the competition) and were last updated on 9 June 2024.
